Take My Money A solid pick. An easy recommendation with no asterisks.

Primo is my field leader for golf apparel, and the Classic Polo is the piece that put it there.

Start with fit. The Classic Polo lands as a clean medium on me, without the baggy excess fabric a lot of golf shirts carry. I wear a medium and order that size from Primo without thinking twice. That's convenient more than anything: you sort out your size once and stop guessing on every reorder.

It performs, too. The Classic is plenty breathable, and even in gross Florida heat I don't find it turning sticky the way lesser shirts do. It's held up to plenty of washes without losing its shape, so it stays looking like a shirt worth wearing rather than something you retire after a season. For a polo you'll put in heavy rotation, that kind of durability matters as much as the fit.

That polo is what sold me on the rest of the line. I bought pants and joggers on the strength of the shirt, and both worked out. If you're ordering bottoms, one tip: go about an inch up from your usual waist. The joggers in particular wear a bit tighter than a regular pant, though never overly tight through the leg. Mine fit as-is, but I'll be honest: had I sized up, my green joggers would be in constant rotation instead of occasional. Since I'm always belted at the course, that extra inch costs nothing and buys real comfort. The pants have also made it into my everyday wardrobe, which tells you they hold up well beyond golf.

I tried the Blade Polo too, and it's cut the same clean way as the Classic. The difference is up top. The Blade sits lower and softer, while the Classic gives me a fuller, stand-up collar that holds its shape through a round. Both are good shirts. I just default to the Classic when I reorder.

One way to spend less: Primo runs regular promotions through Grant Horvat's YouTube golf videos. Even with no site-wide sale on, a quick search usually turns up a working code before you check out. Everyone likes saving money, and with Primo there's almost always a way to.

After a few purchases, I know exactly what I'm going to get from Primo, and that predictability is why it tops the Apparel board. Fit and consistency are the win: one good polo earned my trust, and the rest of the lineup has backed it up since. Buy the Classic in your normal top size, size the bottoms up an inch, and grab a Horvat code on your way out.

Coverage has a shelf life. Top picks get revisited yearly, so this ranking reflects where things stand today.
