Take My Money A solid pick. An easy recommendation with no asterisks.

Every bag from Kuma greets you the same way, that big fresh-roasted aroma the second you break the seal, and this one smelled like something worth slowing down for. It delivers in the cup. Citrus and honey come through clearly, with a brightness lifting off the top that I'd put down to the peach. It's clean and easy to love, the kind of coffee that makes the pour-over feel effortless.

Kuma calls this one of the highest-scoring lots they brought back this season, and you can taste why. It's a washed Caturra grown by Maria Elsy Chavez Villota high above Buesaco in Nariño, and it drinks like a crop somebody selected cherry by cherry. Kuma's own notes run to peach gummy, navel orange, and honey, and the citrus-and-honey heart of that is exactly where it landed for me.

I'd happily keep this in rotation, and I'm genuinely curious what comes off this farm next. An easy buy.
